I'm a New York-based cameraman and director with experience in and a passion for many forms of film and video production.  I studied the craft of filmmaking (theory and practice) at The City College of New York as a B.F.A. Film major, graduating Magna cum Laude with a number of awards and recognitions from the department.  Post-graduation, I honed my craft assisting under a number of notable New York documentary cameramen, including Ed Marritz, Roger Grange, Ben Wolf, and Mead Hunt, among others.

As a shooter, I work fast, operate intuitively, and have a profound appreciation for all the tools of the trade.  As a director (and producer), I love to listen, to improvise, and I appreciate a good challenge.  Working on sets under so many great directors and producers has taught me how to lead and inspire a crew, and my passion for the work drives me in seeing a project through from start to finish.

Working in this field has been very rewarding.  I have worked on such a great variety of projects, documentary and fiction, short and long.  The job has taken me to a number of fantastic locales here in the U.S. and abroad.  My work has been seen on television (including PBS, Discovery, National Geographic, Animal Planet, ABC, MTV, VH1, FOX, CBS, and a variety of International networks) in cinemas throughout the country, and of course, the world wide web.  My industrial work has included projects for a number of noteworthy companies including BBCAmerica, Nokia, Cisco, Pricewaterhouse Coopers, Jaguar/Land Rover USA, MetLife, Wunderman, Harrison & Star, Columbia University Business School, Ogilvy & Mather, Kraft Foods and more.

To sum it all up, I really love what I do.

Some credits of note include serving as camera operator on Investigation Discovery's "True Crime with Aphrodite Jones" and "Deadline Crime with Tamron Hall" and Animal Planet's "Confessions: Animal Hoarding."  Other highlights include operating on Barbra Streisand's concert DVD, "One Night Only" and directing a live concert video for Joan Jett.  I also served as Director of Photography and Co-Producer for "Let's Make a Movie" (an award-winning independent feature film currently available on Amazon: Let's Make a Movie).  In 2015, I was nominated for an Emmy Award for a NY Islanders story I shot at News 12 Long Island.
